These are size 12 seed beads from the Czech Republic.

They are sold by the hank. There are 12 strands per hank, with approximately 4700 beads per hank. 

Size 12 beads are larger than size 13, and smaller than size 11. A size 12 or smaller beading needle works with these beads. The most commonly used thread is size O or OO, or 4lb Fireline.
